IC-R5 PC cable and software?

Hi, I have recently purchased the above and want to use a PC to programme it etc! Anybody know where I can get hold of the cable and software for a fair price? Cheers, Steve in England (UK)

I must add that this is a great micro receiver, much better than the VR-500 it replaced!

We have a Icom R5 Wiki that should give you some hints in that direction.
Even if you don't use tk5, Bob has a couple of sources on his page for the proper cable.

Apart from them telling him about RT Systems and the native Icom software (if there is such a thing...) I doubt very much that AES would know anything about the correct cables or other software. The wiki page I suggested is much more likely to me a more useful resource.

Their technical support is usually pretty good, but I rather suspect they wouldn't know about tk5 or any other non-Icom software. 73s Mike
