You'll notice a few military operator codes like RCH, RRR, SAM, SMZ and others, in there as well

Things like RCH/REACH and RRR/ASCOT are internationally allocated and used so show up in the full lists.

To take an example that wouldn't VYT/--- (they don't use the word Valley as a callsign root though). Any aircraft from RAF Valley that was going outside of the UK would have to use RRR/ASCOT or RFR RAFAIR.
