I currently setup a new TeamSpeak and really enjoy how it seems to really use no bandwidth and CPU/Mem at all.
Though every time I use EdCast/IceCast or Shoutcast/DSP I tend to get 30-50+ CPU usage.
I like using TeamSpeak because it's easier for listeners to record from, they can talk to each other (in separate channels than the scanner ones of course), brings all the scanners in to one program, and because of BW and CPU.
Though, I want to listen to my own feeds on my iPhone, Nokia N810, Laptop, etc.
I need something like Shoutcast/Icecast that doesn't suck up so much CPU, especially for the iPhone and N810.
EDIT: It appears that it's mainly EdCast that does all of the CPU sucking. I have two running and both can take like 20% of the CPU each. I guess that's not bad but I have other programs running like TeamSpeak and a two recorders.
EdCast doesn't seem to want to work for me right anyway. I have two sound cards both called SoundBlaster PCI and every other program gives the second one (2), even though two are listed in EdCast, either selection seems to only give audio from the (2) sound card.
