So far there are several threads on the ICIS, but none of them dedicated to actually catalog TGIDs found on the systems. I know there is an RR Database page for ICIS. However, since this seems to be a work still in progress and many of us are monitoring the systems to find new TGIDs and new usage, I thought a thread to report and discuss this activity would serve us well.

Please add to what I have and correct any mistakes. This will serve to create a master database of the entire ICIS system. As new users go online, the TGIDs and frequencies can be reported and verified here.

As data is confirmed, it can be updated in the RR database.

I'd prefer you not duplicate what's in the database. I'm not seeing a reason as to why you should.

It is not a duplicate of what is in the database, but what I have in my scanner from all sources. There is more data here than there is in the RR database for the ICIS.

The database tends to be a more permanent place for the data. Since the ICIS is still a work in progress, why not first put it here, verify and make any corrections, discuss the data, and then update the RR database. I only put what I have as a starting point or a reference point since the data I have is more than what is in the RR database (although, I have recently made a submission to the RR database for the ICIS). I thought it better to have the data here to view and compare than having to go to the database to see if the data is there, also.

My intention is to compile all data for the ICIS from all sources for the purpose of making corrections and necessary changes, and discussing it. Is it not better to first make the data correct here then submit an addition or correction to the database? This is intended to be a project that we all have already been discussing.

I still don't understand why you have to duplicate what's exactly in the database with what's referenced here. Why not just post what you feel is questionable material or are you questioning all of it?

When it is confirmed please remember to submit it to the database. Thanks.

37680 is POMONA PD <blue-1>, or 'Primary Dispatch.

Also, the control channel you have listed as being for Pomona is not correct, the current, as have been CC for this system is 470.025.

System channels for the Pomona Cell are:

470.025
470.050
470.075
470.100
482.1625
482.3625

Pomona will come across the Glendale/Burbank system if one of the guys lives out that way, or is in pursuit, etc. Same goes for the Montebello system etc.

Thank you for your updated information. Do you have any other TGIDs for Pomona besides this?

Thanks.

Also, can anyone confirm this corrected information?

BTW: The control channel info for this cell site was from the RR database - just one example of the purpose of this thread.

There is information submitted by both of you waiting to be entered in the database. It is 'owned' by someone else so it's out of my hands.

Last week I almost posted the 106 TGs I had for ICIS.....but thought I shouldnt because it had my notes, and not confirmations. All I know is that the system has outgrown my 100 TG bank in my 296D....

That is why I started this thread so we could post what we have, then others could help verify the information.

Is it similar to what I have put here? Maybe you could post what you have that is different or post your list so we all can see and help verify.

Updates for ICIS

We still need your input to help update the information for the ICIS database. If you have any additional TGIDs, corrections, modifications, or other information, please post them here (compare to original post and/or ICIS database).

Others, please verify current posted information and post your findings here as well.

Thanks.

more ICIS activities

I just heard some radio tests on Talk Group 34400, talking about "Chief Blades" and handing out more radios starting at 8am tomorrow morning.

TGIDs 2352 and 2896 Still Unidentified

Has anyone determined what these TGIDs are? I am still hearing activity on them, but cannot track down who is using them.

ICIS - A Suggestion

It would be more accurate to specify the cell instead of some frequencies. If a talkgroup shows up on any one of the frequencies in a cell, it can show up on all of them.

Thus, saying "TG0001 shows up on 484.2625" would be more useful long-term as "TG0001 shows up on the Glendale ICIS Cell."

You are correct. But the way I have the ICIS programmed in my Uniden BCD396T could not do this. I have all the CC frequencies in one system. I have only one ICIS system in my scanner.
