Hello all,
I've got an Icom 7100 that I am wanting to use EchoLink with since I run several area nets that I would like to reach wider audiences... So I do some research and end up buying a SignaLink device specifically for my 7100. After 5 days I am ready to throw the damn thing out the window. I've followed all the directions and did the pin-out correctly. Here is my dilemma. I can get audio to pass thru to EchoLink but I can't get any EchoLink announcements or anything to pass thri even tho the radio transmits. On top of it the squelch is open and I have tried everything I can to silence the squelch, I've had to turn off my EchoLink connection because of the annoying white noise of squelch. Does anyone else have an Icom 7100 and used a SignaLink to set up to EchoLink? Please give me some pointers, thank you!
