Help. I just purchased the 7610 and right away I noticed the VD meter is out of range of the red line. What does this mean? Is something wrong with the radio? Looks scary to me. See attached photo of the meter.VD.Meter.Results.JPG

You have an extremely good radio that will hold its own with most anything out there. I have a 7610 and a higher rated contest radio and I much prefer the 7610. Its receiver is great, the display is much better than my contest radio and the 7610 will talk circles around the contest radio getting louder and punchier with no trace of artifacts, it just gets loud on transmit.

Thank you all for putting my mind at ease

If 10V is the low end of the scale and 16V is the high end, then 13V would be the middle and a good range. As mentioned, the red area is to be avoided due to low voltage.

Thanks for explaining this kind sir.
I was, at first, scared.
Now I can sleep at night.
