Hello everyone!

I’ve been out of ham radio for a while and have recently decided to explore getting back into it. While I thought I had sold all my ham gear, recently I found my old Icom IC-2AT. From what I can tell, both the transmit and receive audio are low. I don’t think other stations can hear me (although I can’t be sure) and I can’t hear others very well even with the volume turned up. Now, I’m not hoping for miracles with this radio, but I think it would be neat if I could get it working again. I’m just wondering if there are any simple troubleshooting steps I could do to find out what’s wrong with the radio.

Receive and transmit audio both low? Check the battery voltage. Also check for so much dust that the audio isn't getting through the case. After that it's a matter of signal tracing both the receiver and the transmitter.
