I currently have a standard horizon 370s programmed for my local fire dept frequencys that I scan while still being able to communicate on the MURS frequency. I like this radio because it also makes a great weather radio. But as I become addicted to these radios, I was looking at the Icom IC m88 and its ability to also be programmed. My question is, can this radio be programmed at home or does the dealer have to do it for me. I really like having the ability to program my radio my self and the options that I can change whenever I want. From my internet search it looks like its dealer only.
