I picked up a used IC-R100 receiver in very good condition for a low price. I own plenty of scanners for my Trunking/P25/DMR/NXDN etc. coverage. This purchase was just for fun. Mainly to use on civil/military aircraft bands, rail, etc. That being said, I am now looking around for a back-of-the-set telescopic antenna for VHF/UHF. I HATE adapters. Any recommendations?

This is my go to telescopic aerial.
Thank you, but BNC will not work here without an adapter. I need one with a PL259 connector so I DON'T need to use an adapter.

An adaptor would not cause any issues in this case but all good if you have a thing against them.

My objection to them is that once in line using adapters, they are not stable. The antenna leans over to the sides if the radio is touched. I keep having to stand it back up a lot. When I am running 3-5 radios at once, it gets annoying. That's all. More annoyance than anything else.
