At least I think it is data... not sure. New to this.
Was wondering if anyone knows what I'm doing wrong in programming, or if it is possible to even remove / avoid "data noise" via settings. I find the manual not all that clear in the "comfortable receiving" chapter 9 (page 45), as I'm not all that familiar with all of the terms and purposes of the various setting found here.
What I have programmed the IC-R20; program each frq. into “C” bank but have not indicated any type of tone squelch operation when I saved it.
While trying to “scan” bank “C” I try and set the “Voice Squelch Control” as describe in the manual. The second that I resume scanning the setting is removed from the freq. I just tried applying this setting to.
I'm not sure this is even the right setting to be using. Or do I need to setup the setting while programming?
Any help would be great.
