Hi

new to the forum from sweden.

i have a R7100 receiver i want to connect the if output to my sdr receiver.
because of the 9 volt DC on the if output, i connected a dc block BLK-222+ at the ouput and then to my sdr receiver.

there is no signal at all, first i thought that my sdr receiver was broken, so i connected the outp to my spectrum analyzer, nothing ?

is there a setting or anything that i have to do on the receiver ?
i boght the receiver used, so i dont know the history of the radio.

I think the IF out on that receiver was intended for a TV video adapter and its not good for much else. I tried mine with a spectrum analyzer and when signals get within the narrow IF pass band the AGC takes over and reduces their level at the center IF frequency. Very annoying.

If can help, I say that just last week I connected my R9000 IF out to my new AOR receiver.
It perfectly works without any setting, but I suspect these are different radios as the R9000 has no voltage over the IF output signal.
