I am interested in purchasing an ICOM IC-V80-Sport handheld. I would like to connect it to a helmet push-to-talk system using the OPC-2004 adapter. In the manual the OPC-2004 is described in use with the VOX. I haven't been able to determine if the OPC-2004 can be used with a PTT system or if it is intended to be used with only a VOX capable headset.
