Icom: ICOM ID-5100

I have a problem with my ID-5100. Whenever I am in DV mode, regardless if I am on side A or B, as soon as I transmit the audio goes off and I can only hear it again if I go to the other half of the radio. Is there a processor or a part I can change that would cause this? I basically can't use the D-Star part of the radio as I lose the audio every time I transmit. Otherwise it works ok. If all I want to do is receive.

There are no user-replaceable processors inside your radio. Sounds like it's ready for a trip back to Icom.

Have you tried a full reset of the radio ? It might be worth trying.
