Icom Marine HT Connector?

This must be a big secret, because they don't have it listed anywhere in the online Icom info... Would anybody happen to know exactly what connector type is used on Icom Marine handhelds? Specifically the IC-M3A? I assume it's probably SMA... male/female?

According to their manual, the adapter to convert it to BNC is part number AD-98FSC

This site lists that as a "GMRS male to BNC female adapter"

I googled that part number and I guess there are a lot of radios that it fits.

I don't know if that helps or not.

Actually, it wasn't the manual but the brochure that lists this connector.

Thanks for the effort... I did notice that adapter. Looking at that, it looks like a non standard type connector, which is sometimes used on GMRS and other commercial type radios. I told the customer he should probably just get the adapter... Which of course has a price tag like it's made of solid gold.
