R30 Icom R-30 Table Stand

I am going to need a stand for my R30 when it arrives and found a 3D printable option online recently at Thingiverse - Digital Designs for Physical Objects

I downloaded the .stl files from here for the holder and here for the stand and clip and had a local 3D print shop print out the three items for me at a cost of NZD$10. The bolt, nut and washers cost more than the stand as I couldn't find single ones so had to buy packs, so all up the stand cost NZD$28, however, much cheaper than some alternatives.

All I need now is an R30!!! It's on its way......hopefully.

I use a metal book end, slightly bent to make the screen more visible. The belt clip snaps onto the upright part and is quite stable. Very inexpensive as well.

You don't need one! My local library has a 3D printing service so have a hunt around you community to see if anyone does public 3D printing.

Note that most of these stands hold the radio only with the Lithium battery not with the AA case
