Has anybody gotten their grubby hands on this radio yet? I'm kinda tossed up...it's going to either be a 796D or an R20...I already have the BC250 and the Pro 96; the 796 was going to be permanent in the car, but if this R20 is working out, I might invest in that instead for HF aero.

Icom R-20 more than cell blocked...

The R-20 has "extra" public safety blocked out at 821.99xx - 825 mHz and also starting at 866.99xx - 869.9xx mHz ... making the R-20 pretty well useless for monitoring conventional (non-trunked) public safety.

I'm sending my unit back. ... otherwise it might be a good radio.
