Icom R8600-02 Version?

Its been a while since the purchased a good wideband receiver. I was just wondering I'm seeing the model R8600-02 does anyone know what is the differences? And how you can tell the difference or serial numbers? I'm looking to pick one up next week sometime and like to make sure I get the latest offering.

Those are country codes and not hardware revisions in the part number:
02 US Blocked
03 Europe
04 US Unblocked
06 France
