Icom RC-30 Firmware - Australia Non US

Hi all.

I own a RC-30 which I use here and there however I wonder if any firmware updates have been released
for the Australian market.

The last one that I can find online is dated 2018 - IC-R30 | Firmware Download | Icom Australia.

Any information would be appreciated

The Icom Japan site has version 1.13 firmware released in April 2022. There are two versions of that firmware: one for the USA version, and the other for non-USA versions.

Thank you, before I do anything I will double check the version that is currently installed. I gather there isn't any plans for further updates?

The R30 has been discontinued for awhile. Don’t expect Icom to come out with a replacement. The R15 was a joke compared to the R30. Icom could have come out with a better R30 but wasted their time and effort on the R15.

Wow, thats a shame. I do like the radio and some of the many benefits it has specially being able to record while monitoring HF stations and then there is all the Digital Modes only wish it had Tetra!!
