Icom's 2008 Rebate "Glitch"

Icom America Inc has a big problem with their 2008 rebate program.
With some Icom radioes purchased till Dec 31, 2008, .... you get a $20.00 rebate.
OK, my rebate form was in the box and sure enough the check arrived in a month and cleared the bank.
Now I get a letter & a new $20.00 check from Icom for the same radio.
$20. + $20. = $40.00
Thank You Icom America for your goofy screw-up.

ICOM won't take the loss, the consumer (you) will. Once they figure out their mistake, they will jack up prices to cover any projected losses.

Guess What, .... the first Icom $20.00 rebate just bounced at the bank.
Let me redo my Icom Rebate Math:
$ 20.00 ..... rebate check 1 that bounced
$ 20.01 ..... Bank Fee on rubber rebate
$ 20.00 ..... Icom's re-issued check 2

$ 20.01 .... My loss with Icom's rebate program
