Is he asking about Radio ID's showing or not showing on a P25 conventional (non-trunked) system? I don't think they do, as they don't on my PSR-500 with Show Radio ID set to 'Yes'. But GRE isn't Uniden.

Or is he asking what Radio ID's are in the first place?

You are using several terms that don't really go together.

P25 Conventional goes with neither Simulcast nor either of the Motorolas. Conventional means that it is not a trunked system. All of the other terms you are using apply to trunked radio systems.

Read up on the basics of radio systems in the wiki on this site.

Tell us exactly which agency/system you are talking about. It may help us better understand what you're talking about.
