I started to use ID Tracker III version 1.9.1 with the GRE PSR-500 and received the following message.

Scanner image file not loaded.
Please make sure that scanner is connected and that CCDump or DSP Comms are not enabled on the scanner.

Copy of the error log below.

Where do I disable the CCDump or DSP in the PSR-500? If I disable the CCDump or DSP, will this effect Win500 program?

Thank you.

From the PSR-500 manual:

CCDump is turned off by default in the PSR-500. To activate
CCDump, press the PGM key, then press FUNC, then press the
GLOB softkey to access the Special Global Settings menu. Scroll
down using the <down arrow> key until CCDump: No is shown on the
middle line of the LCD display. Press the <left><right> keys to toggle
CCDump on or off. Press the SAVE softkey when finished to
save the change in the radioʼs configuration memory.

If you are using WIN500 to program the scanner, then no, disabling dumps will not interfer. The CCDump is only useful for trunked system decoding applications.
