Using ID Tracker III for the first time and unfortunately won't control my Uniden 996P2

I have been using Proscan, EzScan, and ArcXT to control my 996p2 with no problems... For whatever reason I cannot get it to control my 996p2.

Scanner: 996p2 (tried rebooting scanner many times)
Windows 10 latest updates & .net 3.5
IDTracker III v 1.20.7 (tried removing and installing again)
Settings: Type: BCD996p2, Port com 6 (same port the other software uses with no problem communicate to my scanner com port) Port Speed: 115200

Any suggestions since I get no errors from the ID Tracker III debugger enabled as well (F12)

SOLVED...

After almost a month of troubleshooting on and off... turns out the Silicon Labs driver on one of my Windows10 machines would allow the app to work as the other Win10 machines were outdated which was preventing the software from detecting my 996p2.

I'm using the Letotech Cross Wired USB Serial Cable DB9 CP2102 ZT232 USB RS232 to DB9 Null Modem Cable PC Control TV Cable (Null Modem Pinout). The Silicon labs driver 10.1.4.2290 will NOT work with ID Tracker III but will with other scanner applications for whatever reason.

Upgraded the driver to 10.1.8.2466 and it detected right away.

Thanks you everyone who tried to assist.. including David the developer of this awesome app.

This is good to know. Hopefully it saves someone else from going through all of this.
