  • All changes this release apply to BCD436HP and BCD536HP scanners.
  • Removed naming restrictions for Favorites and Departments.
  • Updated naming restrictions for Systems and Sites. Please see the help file notes.
  • System Control window is no longer limited to 20 Favorites, Systems and Departments.
Updated HP Scanner Notes:
Uniden HP Scanner Support

The HP (BCD436HP/BCD536HP) scanners operate differently than the other scanners and require special attention to get the most benefits from ID Tracker. Please use the following guidelines when programming your scanner.

  • When using the System Control window single clicking will display items below the selected group. For example, clicking a Favorite will display all Systems within the selected Favorite. Clicking a System will display all Departments within the selected System.
Double-clicking will toggle (enable or disable) the selected Favorite, System or Department.
  • Assign unique quick keys to all Favorites, Systems and Departments. This will allow ID Tracker to control Favorites, Systems and Departments from the System Control window.
    • Do not duplicate quick keys for Favorites.
    • Do not duplicate quick keys for Systems within a Favorite list.
    • Do not duplicate quick keys for Departments within a System.
  • System and Site names should be unique within the first 25 characters.

    Not Unique:

East Baton Rouge Parish - North
East Baton Rouge Parish - South

    Unique:

    East Baton Rouge Parish North
    East Baton Rouge Parish South
  • Systems with the same name in different favorite lists are treated as the same system.
  • If using Close Call, use "Do Not Disturb" mode. The radio does not correctly report the scanner's status after a Close Call check.

Updated to 1.20.7 to correct minor display issues.
Just installed. Trying to resize the window when program opens. Only enlarges the small portion displayed. Maximize window is grayed out.

Using Windows 10 Home, 64-bit, Version 1803.

Are you resizing the main window? I am running the same version of Windows with no issues. What type of scanner are you using?

Sorry I'm just barely computer literate to explain. I'm 99% certain the problem is not in your program, it's some setting in my HP Pavilion laptop.

I have Unidens 396XT and SDS100, but the issue arises as soon as the program opens, before specifying what scanner.

I'm struggling with posting a screenshot, but your program opens in the upper left -- not hard against the top and left edges -- of whatever window I have currently open. The maximize icon is grayed out, and clicking twice on the top edge of the program does nothing. I can use the cursor, in the lower right corner of the program window, to expand both bottom and right, but all that does is magnify what is in the program's opening window, i.e., it doesn't reveal any more.

I tried both the "Setup Kit" and the "Executable Only" downloads -- uncertain which I tried first -- then uninstalled and tried the other. Same results.

Again, problem is almost certainly on my end, so appreciate having the programmer help me with something that's not program related.

Just noted, on your download page, that the smaller window, without specific info, is what I'm seeing when the program opens. Complete with the grayed out maximize icon.

Now reading the Help info, as I should have done before posting here.
