Hello,

Is there a feature to split up recorded audio files?

For example:

ID01-16408.wav . The file just gets huge and hard to follow if you wanted to go back and listen, is there a way to have the program say start a new file for that channel every hour or day atleast and timestamp it??

ID01-16408_MMDDYYTIME.wav would be a nice example. Or would I have to create some sort of script to run that would do this?

Thanks

Splitting audio files

Go to snapfiles.com and check out the audio/video software. Make sure you click on freeware search only. They have thousands of free programs. These are not stripped down programs, they are full featured and many are quite ingenious.

Have fun,

I just close down ID Tracker every few days (when the directory goes over 100 MB) and rename the "Audio" folder to "Audio-2006-06-27". That generally helps keep the file size down, and at that point I would have reviewed the recordings.
