Idaho Falls

Hi from the west coast. I was wondering if Idaho Falls has their own PD or are they patrolled by the sheriff? I'm planning a trip there but I don't se the PD listed in the database. Thanks for any info

Everything is P25 digital except a few things are simulcast on vhf.

IFPD and Bonneville County SO are both on the same Bonneville County TG 10001. However this TG is fully encrypted about 90% of the time, so you won't hear much at all. Only I.F. Fire/EMS are not encrypted. Jefferson County SO and Fire are not encrypted.

Idaho State Police TGs and Bingham County TGs are not encrypted. ISP still simulcast on the old uhf frequencies.
ISP District 6 covers Idaho Falls and North to Montana and East to Wyoming -mostly unencrypted.
ISP District 5 covers Bingham and Bannock counties and south to Utah- mostly unencrypted.
