St. Al's Life Flight has merged with Life Flight Network. As a part of the merger, LFN has abandoned the St. Al's Life Flight VHF repeaters on Shafer Butte and Snowbank Mountain. Instead they are now using State Comm F2 for flight following in the Boise area (F1 for patient reports), Iridium sat phones for operations out of the area, and Nextel for crew paging and ground ambulance dispatching.

Update 9/5/11

Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello has transitioned their flight program into the Life Flight Network and their Pocatello helicopter is being dispatched as "Life Flight 81" from the Boise dispatch center. (154.1150, 100.0 PL)

Life Flight now has dispatch centers in Boise, McCall and Lewiston with Helicopters based in Boise, Lewiston, Mountain Home and Pocatello.

"Air Idaho" remains based out of EIRMC in Idaho Falls and is not part of the Life Flight network.

I am not sure the database frequencies listed under "Medivac" are currently correct. Any input to update the DB would be appreciated.
