I am using the RS TElescoping Whip antenna on a pro 95, any ideas for an extension of some sort so that the antenna is not directly connected to the scanner, I am cocnerned with the wieght on the antenna BNC jack plus it is a little top heavy.

You must really live out in the wilderness to need that much antenna on a 95. In Metro areas an antenna shorter than the original is what is most popular. There is a 19" whip at this site: www.bncantanna.com

Thanks for the info, that web site does not work. I am just trying have the strongest signal possible. I am picking up public safety form over 100 miles away as well monitoring local stuff. I am very pleased with my diamond but would also like to be able to use the RS Whip....the taller the better right?

The taller, but not the longer the antenna the better. It depends on what band you are monitering, if it is 800 then the telescopic is big time overkill. The telescopic antenna is really good for Low Band all the way extended. It's ok for 800 all the way down.
