Hello Everyone:

This am I have logged very weak Cap+ DCC=11 Rest Channel 5@ 862.343 . As mentioned its very weak at my location, so I am unsure of where the signal is coming from inside the city or maybe from outside the city. My 1/4 wave vertical antenna makes it impossible to know the geographic location of the signal, so was wondering if anyone is familiar with this signal?

Any help will be appreciated.

A Cap system is a TRBO trunked system , multiple frequencies part of a wider system frequency is either .3375 or .3500 generally in 12.5 k steps. There will be other frequencies with that system however a TAFL search yields nothing. The above mentioned system might be assigned to IM wireless (per license)
More info required.

If you are using a Uniden scanner, they misidentify LLRP vehicle locations on maps as CAP systems. If I am correct , it could be a utility company.
