IDOT Freqs??

Are any of the lowband VHF 42.xx freqs. still used by IDOT snowplows/crews?

I can't seem to hear anyone there, even when I know they would be pushing snow in my area of the state.

Just curious.

Here in my area they use 47.1 and 47.02 hear alot radio traffic when they are pushing snow plus live half mile from i80 and state garage in Ladd which they plow the main road in Ladd and on north.
Most state plows use the 47.xx

Sad thing is I remember installing Micors and Syntor X radios.. I still have one Dept that uses VHF syntors for ISPERN radios.
