I'm looking at doing a long run of LMR-400, and found this:

For $56 shipped for 100 feet with N connectors, I'm thinking of jumping. Looks to be generic LMR-400, but no reviews. The seller has them on eBay as well.

Thoughts?

Mods might move this to a new topic, as it is a bit of a hijack.

If they are using decent LMR-400, not some cheap knock off, it is a good deal. Better yet that in comes with N connectors, so there are no impedance bumps.

For 800, if it will be its own antenna, you might want to consider a preamp mounted at the tower top.

The OP did not specify transmitting or just listening, but if you are going to transmit, make certain any preamp used is rated to match the transmit power. (The preamp should have an RF sense, and bypass the amp during transmission.)
