Ill. secretary of state,analog car to car ch. heard in central ill. yesterday.

Monday morning at 8am I heard two officers discussing training classes in springfield,il. on 154.6500 mhz. Dpl 754
I used to hear these guys on occasion prior to starcom21 being implemented,but it's neat to know they can still be heard in analog.
Quite often,they'll be tooling along on I-74 or I-88 comparing notes on IVC violations or talking about "low flyers" in the passing lanes!

The state has been working a lot of details, your going to see this a lot more. Starcom 21 may have a few details on it, but vhf hi-band remains in the cars. It's a very effective tool for those that think everything is on Starcom 21. Oh yea, don't forget their are others on 700/ 800 that are utilize as well. Read the profile......
