With the great potential of severe storms expected to occur over the next few days across Illinois, does anyone know where I can find a list of Skywarn repeaters that are actually used for storm reports? The only one I know of that is actually used for reports is N9ST in Oregon

I wish there was a better source for this information. A lot of the lists I’ve seen are around 20 years old.

I exported the conventional and Starcom21 “emergency ops” tagged frequencies and talkgroups to a Google sheet:
Radioreference Illinois Emergency Ops - talkgroups and conventional (April 2022)

EMA Statewide frequencies:
Illinois - Emergency Management / Homeland Security Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference

Statewide Amateur Radio: (I also exported the weather ones to the Google Sheet)
Illinois Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference

You may want to check the ITTF Regional talkgroups on Starcom21. In Central IL these are used to communicate county weather reports to Lincoln WX. Great source of info during storms to get a regional perspective.

I attached a pretty old map of weather spotter frequencies for Central IL circa early 2000s (not sure where I downloaded this from or I'd give them credit).

Check the NWS office pages. Some list repeaters, some don't. Here's what Chicago listens to. Quad Cities used to have a list of their repeaters on their page but it seems to have been removed. St. Louis has a good informative page as well. And of course these aren't comprehensive lists, there are other nets to listen to as well. Around Chicago Lake County is on 147.180 (127.3), McHenry County on 146.835 (91.5), Kane County on 145.470 (103.5), DuPage County is on one of the Wheaton repeaters but I can't recall which one, and the northern part of Will County has the Bolingbrook repeater on 147.330 (107.2) (linked to 443.525 114.8).
