I'm not hearing a thing from southern Illinois state police, haven't for a long time, have they switched to the new frequencies or what. I'm running the BCD996xt.

Have you checked the database to make sure your towers frequencies havent changed? I wish I could help more but I'm up north by Dist Chicago. What towers do you usually monitor?

Well I'm having the same problem. I use a Grecom PSR-800 and 996XT and for a week I have not heard any digital P25 Starcom 21. I thought my scanners were victims of an electrical blink last week. I have my Uniden HP-1 running right now. It is only capable of phase 1 but I am hearing ISP District 11 and I connected my tallest antenna to it but the signal from the tower I use seems weak. I am going to take my PSR-800 for a ride tomorrow night and drive towards the tower site to see if reception improves before I go dumping a bunch of money on a new phase 2 scanner.
