For several months I've been very happy with my 500's digital trunked system reception. Works great.
But on the conventional side, I've had some agencies I couldn't pick up worth a damn. The signal was strong, but the voices were barely audible.
Today it dawned on me--Somehow I programmed many of the FM frequencies in with the modulation set as AM. I used ARC500 and the RR database, so darned if I know how I did it.....
ANYWAY, boy do the conventional frequencies come in good now!!!!!!
Still learning, I guess........
