I'm astounded how well the SDS series units perform.

I bought the brand new SDS-100 and I was disgusted the way the VHF and UHF barely was able to pick up any signals compared to the excellent
700mhz digital trunking reception on the SDS-100. I hope the SDS-200 is a better radio.

My SDS-200 has been a real winner for me. I am 10 miles, as the crow flies, from one of those large Amazon Fulfillment Centers down in Fall River. On my 536, I'd pick up the conventional DMR repeaters only enough to decode the color code, and occasionally broken up audio. On my SDS-200? I am hearing the full conversations without breakup. I am getting parts of the Rhode Island statewide system (P25 Phase I), clean and clear as well. Conventional analog UHF and VHF seem to be at par, but the digital is knocking everything else out. This is a real winner for me. I can put up with the annoying buzzing sound if I am getting the reception results I am with this.
