I was scanning around the low to mid 900MHz band and heard TPD at:
917.2625
914.2625
917.0875
913.7875 <~~~ maybe cordless phone

but the others I know to be Tulsa PD.

What's up with that? Is it normal? :?:

I have heard them there several times, on a Pro 96.
There is bleedover from the LTR's on 800 Mhz on the 789-800 Mhz area,
hearing that on a Pro 96 also.

On my Uniden 396D, I am not hearing the stuff in the 900 Mhz range.

Frequency bleedover is confusing many times!

Is there a such think as TalkGroup Bleedover? If there is; there alot
of Mass Confusion!

Well the talkgroup bleed over has happened several times in recent years.

Seems like everytime City Trucks are plowing snow the workers bleed over on Tulsa Fire. I remember the first time I heard it the dispatcher was complelely confused....now they typically just ignore it.

About two months ago I was listening to UDE Dispatch and an officer was screaming over the radio about a foot pursuit. The dispatcher went 63 and asked for location. I can't recall the address but it was really odd. I dispatcher couldn't raise the officer back and someone said it was a Sapulpa addy. Talk about scary....I guess good thing the officer was getting thru to someone.

I guess this is the wear & tear of a twenty year odd system.

That wasn't a radio problem, the Sapulpa Officer was on the wrong channel. He must have been listening to TPD on his hand held radio and forgot to switch back to the Sapulpa’s channel when he got out on his call. Other than him being a little embarrassed, everything turned out OK.
