Im currently living in St-jean sur richelieu and i would like to know, when i will have my scanner how can i find the channel of the police from st-jean.
I heard that some of the polices are also using some cellular transmission system and not cb, if they use that at st-jean it mean that i will be unable to listen the feed?

Thanks for your help

either the new GRE's, Radio Shack Pro-96 or UNIDEN BCD396XLT will work.. for St.Jean sur Richelieu they operate on UHF in the 410-412 mhz band, for Montreal Police same thing, SIM Mtl Fire is a P-25 Digital Trunking system & Urgences Sante & Longueuil Fire are on the same EDACS 800mhz trunking system... SQ are standard VHF system . all freqs you need are available on Radio Reference & on INFOSCAN (en francais)..

if you need any more help Private Message me...
