I'm Stumped

When trying to monitor Ameristar Casino, in St Charles, its listed as just a conventional uhf system. I keep locking up on 462.200 and 462.175 with a "buzzing" sound or a saw mill sound. Its sort of like a control channel p25 though I have created systems from everything Freescan allows. Has anyone heard the sounds or can tell me if its monitorable. what system am I listing too.

Altho the FCC indicates Analog only for the Casino they could have converted to DMR

Has anyone looked at the neighboring counties for possible DMR licenses ? just to rule them out ?

Not with a Scanner Alone, which is where the poster was likely going.

Yes, you can use external software and hardware, but with todays current scanners - other than P25, NO DMR can be monitored (audio decoded)
