Hi Everyone. I hope someone might be able to help me with this. There are a couple of websites that I am having trouble logging into and I can't find a correction to this issue with a general google search. The websites are dteenergy.com (DTE Electric company) and aamc.org (American Association of Medical Colleges). When I submit my login information the websites say I have logged in successfully. However, while the main page is still loading it automatically redirects me and logs me out of the website and tells me I logged off successfully. From the time I hit the login button to the time it logs me out can't be more than 5 seconds. It is the same thing with both websites. I have tried both Chrome and Microsoft Edge. I have cleared all the caches and cookies on both browsers and both browsers are the newest versions. I'm using my MSI GP65 Leopard laptop running Windows 10. The "location" feature on the laptop is set to "off" and has been that way since I got my laptop. When I try logging into both sites using Chrome on my cell phone, it logs me in and I can use both websites without issue. While using my phone it has been both using my home wifi just like my laptop and trying it using the Verizon data plan only. No issues either way. I'm stumped. Any ideas?

I tried Firefox and it did the same thing as Chrome and Microsoft Edge, just slower. Opera is not on the list of supported browsers for the AAMC so I didn't try that. I'm wondering if it is some type of global setting on my laptop? It's strange that I would have the same issue across multiple browsers on one device, but have no problems using anther device. I need to get this figured out, as I'm trying to put applications together to send out through the AAMC and it's difficult to do on my phone.

Hey Everyone. After a lot of frustration and Google searching, I finally found the fix to my issue. I never would have come up with this on my own. I found an obscure post on a forum dated 2016 that mentioned the date and time settings on the computer can cause login issues with certain websites if not configured properly. Specifically, in the computer settings, if you do not have the "Adjust for daylight savings time automatically" set to "on", it will not update properly and cause the login issues I described in my first post. Mine was set to "off" while I was having the issues. I changed it to "on", rebooted the laptop for good measure and all of the websites I was having issues with started working again. I hope this helps someone else who may be having this issue as I never would have made that connection on my own. Thanks.
