IMPD Helicopters grounded

Fox 59 On Thursday 2-12-2010at 10:00OPM. All 4 IMPD helicopters are grounded because of cutbacks within Metro Indianapolis/Marion County.The New Public Safety Director was behind this move and will be giving his recomendation to Mayor Ballard.Now after this has happened I guess IMPD will be asking for Air Support from Indiana State Police with there helicopters located at the Air Section at The Indianapolis International Airport
