If you haven't already, take a look at this guide for Win500.

Remember that once you import information, via the software, whatever you load from the software to the scanner overwrites the programming currently in the scanner. You can't simply add a few newly imported channels, or an additional trunked system.

Instead, if you already have a certain amount of channels, and/or trunked systems, loaded, and want to add additional conventional objects (frequencies), or TSYS and TGRP objects (trunked systems and talkgroups), first download from the scanner into software, then save what you have already programmed. Then, using the file you've saved in Win500, make your changes and additions, save that (as a backup), then upload it to the scanner.

Also see this page for an overview on the Object Oriented memory used by your scanner.

In Win500 click File > Web Import > RadioReference.com, select the type, enter your RR logon info, then select country, state, etc., once you've selected your specific services, click the Import Selected Channels button. Once you have everything arranged how you want in Win500, click Scanner > Upload to Scanner.

I think the only type of file You can import to Win500 is one that was created by a program made by the developer of this software.
There is No CSV support, You might be able to import a bin file, but I haven't tried that.
