SDS100/SDS200: Importing to SDS100 from RR

Gettin old...can't remember.....I have the csv export from the rr db...how do I get that into the scanner? I have Sentinel and ProScan....don't see anything in either that lets you import csv.....

Any particular reason you are using a .csv file? ProScan imports directly from the database no need for csv files.

You're a Premium Subscriber, and as Enforcer has noted, you can simply import exactly what you want from the RR Database,



You could, I suppose, copy the data from your *.csv file to the clipboard, then use the "Get Clipboard" option in ProScan to select & enter data:

but direct import would be much easier & quicker.

And if using Sentinel, go to the Database at the top left corner and locate the desired "stuff". Then right mouse click and select Append to Favorites Lists. You can either create a new Favorites List or add the "stuff" to an existing Favorites List.

It may seem arduous, but. If you don't have an RR subscription, you can 'copy n paste'.

-Sentinel

1. Append to Favorites List
2. Upload to Scanner

-Proscan

1. Highlight the RRDB data you want to add to your Favorites List
2. Right-click on the highlighted RRDB data
3. On the main Proscan program screen, checkmark the box that says 'Favorites Editor', to open it.
4. In the Favorites Editor, open the system you want to put the data into.
5. In the Favorites Editor, click on 'Paste', select the system you want to insert the data.
6. Click on 'Scanner Write' to upload the new data to the scanner.
