Can anyone in this group advise what talk groups are being used in the Franklin and Union County areas by IDOT? I have been tasked with Programing a Radio Shack Pro 197 for a gentleman that lives in Franklin County close to the Union County line. In addition to the local Franklin and Union county stuff he would also like to listen to the state police and IDOT. The state police was pretty easy to figure out by looking at the Indiana Safe T System on Radiorefernce but with me not living in the area IDOT was not as easy to understand. Also I know there are talk groups listed in the Indiana Safe T system for Union County but for a long time Union County opted to stay on VHF. I live in Butler County Ohio witch boarders both of the counties but I live on the opposite side of the county so I am way out of radio range to listen to either of these counties from my scanner at home.
