Anyone interested in this Indiana HF/shortwave monitoring thread? I am very interested in the HF receiving equipment other Indiana members of this board are using and what is being monitored. Anyway, I'll start things off.
Receiver: Icom IC-R75
Antenna: Currently using a home-made indoor 6 ft. x 6 ft. (square shaped) coaxial loop antenna (Performs very well on 160 - 10 meters!) - http://www.greertech.com/hfloop/mymagloop.html
Anyone been monitoring 14.325 - Hurricane Watch Net? Lots of traffic. Also, 14.265 - Salvation Army Health & Welfare is very active dealing with the aftermath of Katrina.
