Does anyone know how security is handled at the Indiana State Fairgrounds? I was there working an event over the last couple of weeks, and I saw security people from both Securitas and ESN (I THINK that was the name of them) patrolling. Is each event responsible for hiring their own security?? Since there were multiple events going on at the state fairgrounds, it's possible each event hired their own security firm, but I was under the impression that the fairgrounds itself had it's own security force.

Anyone? :)

For most events, they hire thier own security such as ESC (Colts, LOS, ICC), Securitas (IMCPL), and others. For the Fair, you have IMPD, ISP, etc.... Along with private firms. As well as the ISF having its own details etc...

Actually I think it's ESG. They also do security for Bankers Life Field House, and Butler University Sporting Events.

Securitas does security for some downtown buildings too.

Since there were 2 different events going on that weekend, I guess each event hired their own security company. Thanks, folks! :)
