I've used three different ways to record traffic using the SDS100. The first is to press FCTN then RECORD on the scanner itself, but then it records everything. The second way is to use the Sangean DAR-101, but then it records everything.
Here's the thing though, I'm only interested in recording traffic on one channel. As you can see below, the third way is to set ProScan to record this entry...

Now for some strange reason, I cannot get the PC's internal mic jack to work, but I can use my USB FiFine microphone, but I'd rather have a direct connection, and then listen through the PC's speakers. So my question is, do any of you use a dedicated USB sound card as your interface between the SDS100's earphone jack and the USB port on your computer? If so, which one do you use? There are many cheap ones on Ebay, but I don't feel like gambling.
THANKS!
