With respect to inductors in parallel, do we take the largest value and divide by the number of inductors? Exp: three inductors identical valued at 90 milihenrys are connected in parallel. The total equivalent inductance is equal to? Answer is 30MH. I know the answer because it is part of a practice exam but I want to know the formula to use or is my formula above correct?

Same law as resistors.

Total L of uncoupled inductors in parallel is equal to the reciprocal of the sum of the reciprocal of each inductor.

Ltotal = 1/((1/L1) +(1/L2) + (1/L3) + (1/Ln))
