I confirmed Race Control on 468.825 (103.5) in use during the 2020 Indy Grand Prix. Was too far away to hear any spotters.

@evilbrad - did you confirm any officials frequencies? I saw an Indy Car official in the pits on tv with a Motorola XPR 6500 (or similar) radio so they could be DMR or analog.

Found another possibility for officials:
Race Control (Alternate) 467.0125 PL Code: DPL032. (source)

The 450-451 and 5 MHz offstes change by location, those are part 74 freqs assigned by the local coordinator.

I use to listen to these in pre IP streaming days, reporters in the field would get their cues from the station and the ever present idle chit chat between the reporter and the talking heads in the studio after the reporter does his/her story.
I have not listened in a while but noticed there wasn't much last time I did so I'm assuming they are using Unity intercom or something similar.

From what location?
I was about 3 mi from the track and I could barely pick the driver channels up on a handheld. 464.175 I picked up there, but could still pick up at home in Greenwood. Race Control 468.825 I can pick up in Greenwood too. That's the most interesting channel to monitor as they tell you everything that's going on. The "fire channel" 451.725 is also really good for when there is accident cleanup.

Interestingly, when I lived in Perry Twp I had trouble hearing the track repeaters and I couldn't hear Race Control so elevation has a lot to do with it as I'm a lot farther from the track now but can hear it better now.

I think the first 464.175 DMR channel is their main channel as the second on wasn't as frequently used.
