With the new DMR system now licensed for Indygo, could they be leaving the MESA trs? If so, that will open up a lot of space on S2.

From what I'm gathering now, it's for Security since they have been illegal for multiple years now on FRS.

For what it's worth I have seen the supervisors and security at the transit stations with small lime green radios. The supervisors also have there city issued Motorola's on themselves too.

The small green radios are probably Motorola T600 FRS radios, which would line up with the post above saying they're on FRS.

Yes, Nolan Security uses iCOM's, IndyGo supervisors use a mix of those newer green, and yellow T600"s and Baofeng's to talk to each other and Nolan. Some of the ODE LEA's have loaner T600's, or iCOM's.

As of today, all those Baofeng and T600's are gone. Every Nolan Security guard and Indygo supervisor now have nifty small black HT's. I will try for a close up look soon
And with some of my Indygo friends now also being in the process of going GMRS, and one becoming a ham soon, I have kinda an in path since we love talking radio. I will also see if I can snag anything on that DMR repeater. If it's not encrypted.
