info for newbie scanner

I am programming my scanner to police and public safety frequencies due to my involvement in CERT, Kent County RACES, and AMERICORPS. I need help in interpreting the the column headings of the frequency lists supplied. I understand the "Frequency" column is output, but do not know what the second column titled "Input" means. How do I program my scanner to both frequencies? Example:

City of Rockford MI: DPW/Police Freq: 154.11500 Input: 158.73000

Any help would be appreciated.
